The points structure has been changed from 10, 8, 6, 5, 4, 3, 2, 1... to... 10, 9, 8, 7, 6, 5, 4, 3, 2, 1. Essentially, the non-winning teams will score more points at each event, allowing them to stay closer in contention.

There will be NO substitutions at all. Substitutions will be entirely unnecessary because...

The team scoring system is completely new! In the past, teams were ranked/scored based on the average finishing PAX position of all the team members. Starting this year, points will be scored by adding each team member's PAX performance relative to their own expected/drafted position (cumulative delta). For example, let's assume that a team consists of members with the draft positions 3, 12, 25, and 39. At a particular autocross, if those people finish 4th, 9th, 28th, and 32nd in PAX, then each member's relative performance is -1, +3, -3, and +7, for a team total cumulative delta of +6. Teams will score points based on how the other teams' cumulative deltas rank/compare. If a team has members missing for an event, then the team will be awarded a fraction of their cumulative delta. If 3 members are present, the team receives 3/4 of their cumulative delta, if 2 are present, the team receives 1/2 of their cumulative delta, and so on. This way, a team takes a slight hit for the missing member, but can still compete and be in the hunt and score points accordingly! If all members of the team are absent, the team will score 0 points for the event.
